MEMORIES FROM THE PIGSTY!
Formed in 1995, WERTHAM is a power electronic/industrial project interested in playing with stereotypes and misconceptions related to sex, race, class,
etc painting different human landscapes based on first hand experience.
Foresta di Ferro is the more neofolk orientated side of Marco Deplano and so far the most know,
working with Richard Leviathan and John Murphy. Again on
Memories from the pigsty he collaborated with John Murphy
and Trevor Ward of the Grey Wolves plus Lou Chano, Andrea Bisi. This is the long overdue 1st. fullenght release of Wertham and in the breeding oven for more then 8 years now.
Various vinyl and cassette releases have been done before, notorious Marco Deplano has also invented the multiple power electronics outfit called Death Pact International.

In our times meanings of "independence" and "fullness" could be added.
Perhaps it is clear why our organisation we've named in such way.
Though Autarkeia was established in order to record and to promote underground "industrial" subculture,
our working area has been broadened. For such purposes we've made up this web site.
Our main goal is to enrich our culture by new ideas and uncommon art artefacts.
We believe that the real music, whose exclusive sign is sincerity, could be born only in "underground".
Our aim is to find interesting and modern "industrial" subculture music and to present it like an
